Today we are talking to David Reger, the CEO at Neura Robotics. And we discuss his vision of using robots to make the world a better place, how this will be achieved using their advanced collaborative robots, and why having love and passion for your mission will allow you to achieve anything you set out to do.
All of this, right here, right now, on the Modern CTO Podcast!

About David:
As one as the pioneers in this field, I gained over 8 years of experience in developing and introducing one of the most sensitive and accuracy cobot series on the market.
I believe in changing the world with robots for the good of everyone!
The robotics market has developed with the introduction of cobots to become one of the largest and profitable markets in the world. The intuitive programming has re-opened the market and everyone has a chance to participate in this multi-billion dollar market.
However, no real revolution in my opinion is taking place so far. The present cobots in the market are blind, deaf, insensitive and not smart at all. My personal mission is to revolutionize robot technology in the shortest possible time and to reshape the robotics market with new products as well as opening up new markets and deployment fields through smarter cobots equipped with human senses.
I firmly believe that global problems like ageing population can be solved by our new type of robots. Our robots will be able to interact with humans just as how we are used to interact with each other. No complicated programming or teaching.
About Neura Robotics:
To handle the rising global demand, companies necessitate individualized solutions which require increasingly complex production processes. Until now the cognitive abilities and experiences of humans are the integral component of those processes. However, global megatrends like the silver society will strain the ability to meet those demands in the near future. For several decades industrial robots have proven to be a general-purpose tool which plays an important role in dealing with the rising complexity. But there is still a big gap in the field of human machine interactions which prevents to merge the benefits of both worlds.
We, the Neura Robotics GmbH, have the goal of closing this gap and enhancing robots’ cognitive abilities by making groundbreaking leaps in the fields of environment perception, drive technologies, control theory, material science, mechanical design and artificial intelligence. By giving the robot what is currently missing: a sense and a mind, we aren’t just aiming to revolutionize modern production sites but also conquer new markets like medicine technologies, home automation and food production.
