About Trey:

Trey Connell is the Chief Technology Officer for ePublishing Inc. He works with magazine, newsletter and newspaper publishers to increase audience engagement and content monetization.

Trey leads ePublishing’s long-term technology vision and deployment surrounding their Software as a Service (SaaS) product offerings. Trey has spearheaded the continual evolution of ePublishing’s core technology offering and business model since joining the company in 2000.

Trey oversees all frontend and backend development, project management and infrastructure staffs. He serves as the primary consultant for all sales staff, meeting with potential customers to understand their business and technology objectives in order to provide solutions and revenue opportunities. He also oversees all integrations with partners, as well as clients’ internal and external systems. Additionally, he pumps out Ruby code on a weekly basis, building features and integrations for his customers and staff.

Prior to joining ePublishing, Trey was a software engineer at Acxiom Corporation and focused on client-server development of customer service systems for publishers.

Trey holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Outside of his day job, Trey enjoys a variety of activities such as hiking, running, woodworking and cooking. He spends every minute he can with his wife and two children. He coaches and mentors other children through youth programs such as Arkansas United Soccer, Upward Basketball and local recreation league softball.

Beasley Foundation was formed in February 2017 after Joel, Mitch and Valerie lost their Mother to Leukemia after being diagnosed 6 weeks earlier. Joel and his siblings wanted to do something unique with her life insurance money and the Beasley Foundation was formed.
