Archana Rao is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Atlassian. Her team is responsible for building and scaling all the systems and processes used by our business functions and our customers. Archana has more than 20 years of experience setting systems strategy and partnering with business leaders to build and scale corporate systems. She was a vice president at Veritas, where she managed the IT separation from Symantec during a record-breaking one-year period. Prior to that, Archana was a vice president at Symantec and also worked in a variety of engineering, IT, M&A, and leadership roles at Cisco. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Achieve Kids, a Palo-Alto based school for special needs children.
Archana holds a Master’s in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a B.A. in electrical engineering from Mysore University, India.
